The Other Ones is a Croatian brand that celebrates our Planet and self expression. We believe in wild hair, jumping in puddles and ice cream in bed. Always.

Legend has it that they were born from the laughter of a thousand rainbows and the whispers of playful spirits who danced through the meadows of imagination. From these curious beginnings, they were gifted the extraordinary power to craft garments from the finest threads of joy, woven with the warmth of summer nights. Embracing this remarkable talent, The Other Ones set out to create the most enchanting clothes, knowing they were meant to share their magic with the world.

It is believed they worshipped love and kindness, holding the conviction that every person is made from the same threads as they are—that each person is another Other, a masterpiece, an exceptional collection of stardust. They saw the world not as it is, but through the prism of art, viewing people as canvases. Their mission became clear: to help others paint their unique story, with clothes as their colors.

  • Luna

    Luna is a gentle soul with a vivid imagination and likes to wear flowing garments in peculiar patterns. Their look is ethereal and they have been seen talking to their freckles on more than one occasion.

  • Auri

    Auri is a cheerful spirit that mixes bold prints and comfortable fabrics, that reflect their playful personality. They have a twinkle in their eye and bite their lip when trying to remember something.

  • Noah

    Noah is a passionate advocate for sustainability. Their style is bold but sober with a touch of bohemian flair, incorporating elements like rugged boots and silly hats. They love to wear unmatched socks.

The person behind the brand

Now that you've met tiny little beings that live inside my head creating whirlwinds of wild ideas, it's time that you meet me. Only if you want to, of course. But I'm pretty charming, atleast that's what my friends say. I hope.

  • Hi, I'm Tea. And I want to tell you how this brand started.

    The idea of creating my own prints and clothes has been brewing inside me for quite some time. I remember, years ago, walking down the street, imagining dresses with bright clouds of every color, their feel on my skin and the smile on my face while wearing them. I remember thinking how I would hide secret messages that will be woven into the clothes and when people see it, it would make their day.

    I’ve always loved colors, clothes that bring you joy, and the magic of hidden worlds, and I dreamed of creating clothes I would love to wear. But until few months ago I was never brave enough to start.

    Having a degree in graphic design, even though a creative profession, making and drawing clothes wasn't a part of it. The idea always felt out of my reach. And then one sunny day in March this year, while thinking what should I do with my life, that little spark found its way back to my brain, and I decided to go for it. I wish I could tell you how I finally found the courage to do it, maybe it was the huge motivation from my beautiful friends that believed in me, the excitement of bringing something new to the world, the simple fact that I could no longer ignore the dream or all of the above. And it wasn’t financial stability that made it possible (I was at my lowest point financially, I’m terrible at saving—any advice?), but I started anyway. And here I am, still not sure how I've made it work. But I know this - if you’re passionate about something, go for it. It will be hard, I won't lie, but the Universe will conspire to help you.

    My dream, aside from bringing these colorful clothes to life that hopefully can bring a smile to someone's day, is to help and inspire others to believe in themselves, do the things they are passionate about and take a chance on themselves. You never know - you might succeed.

Tea as The Other One

Tea is a bubbly soul who loves bold colors and playful, overall clothes with a touch of too much pink eye shadow. With a spark of mischief in her eyes, Tea is often found with her head in the clouds, dreaming of softer worlds and is a firm believer that no one is ever truly alone in the presence of a rubber duck.

We are commited to fair treatment

We deeply care about the people we work with. We are committed to ensuring fair treatment—both financially and personally—because we believe that kindness and respect should be the pillar of everything we create. That’s why we collaborate closely with two wonderful women from our local community, who transform our sketches into beautifully crafted garments.

Who sews our clothes?

  • Kristina Lopatić

    Kristina, from Zaprešić, Croatia, brings over 25 years of experience in the art of garment crafting. Specializing in exquisite wedding dresses, she has dedicated her career to working in a renowned wedding dress boutique, perfecting her skills and creating unforgettable pieces.

  • Danijela - Nolis Studio

    Danijela, from Ozalj, Croatia, brings over 30 years of sewing experience to the table. After decades of perfecting her craft, she opened her own studio where she pours her love for creativity into every stitch. Passionate about sewing colorful, unique garments, Danijela delights in making pieces that add a little spark to the everyday.

Our dream for the future

When I say "we," I’m mostly referring to me and the tiny beings of my imagination.

So, our (my) dreams for the future are exciting. I hope to build a small creative team, where we work together to make products that bring even more joy to people. To have a place where we can bounce ideas off each other, have coffee meetings in the park on sunny days, and create an environment we love coming to every day.

I dream of building a community of souls from all walks of life, where kindness, respect, and inclusivity are the foundation. A space where everyone feels seen, valued, and encouraged to embrace their true selves without judgment. A space where we can collaborate and bring fresh perspectives to the products we create together.

And another dream I am very passionate about is to one day mentor others and provide small financial aid to help them start their passion projects—giving them the motivation and belief in themselves that they can do it, too. That’s the dream I'm dreaming of and I am so excited for it all.
